The developer, McGarrell Reilly Group, has released the second phase of the 98-acre business campus. Phase 1 was sold out last spring and the first building has been handed over, Phase 2 is due to be completed in August. McGarrell Reilly Group encompasses development, construction and property management. Other commercial projects include the Watermarque Building, Dublin 4; Iveagh Court Complex, Harcourt sreet, Dublin 2.
Road and residential developments include 650 houses and apartments at Lusk Village;416 houses at Steeplechase, Rathoath, 300 houses, apartments at Stepaside Park and a new scheme in Dundalk (Marlmount New Homes).
An improvement programme occurred on the 9,969-sq.m building, including installing a landscaped setting, a sweeping entrance bridge, a gym and changing facilities and marketing suite. This resulted in the developer securing a letting of half the building to Pfizer. Iveagh Court, Harcourt Road, is an extensive complex comprising mixed used development of 23,225-sq.m around a landscaped courtyard and underground car park.
High quality tenants include Mercer, OPW and Hewitt Associates. CityNorth is being designed by Henry J Lyons & Partners and constructed by Fajon Construction. McGarrell Reilly Group has its own property management company that will ensure the landscaping and the Campus are kept to an extremely high standard. The seven storey CityNorth 4-star hotel announces the entrance to the Campus. The Hotel comprises 128 bedrooms, 12 meeting rooms, restaurant, and public bar and function room to cater for 800 guests. The developer is planning over 100,000-sq.m of development, investing over €200 million.
