Supporting and Funding Local Community and Charity Work

Dublin City University Access Programme
DCU pioneered the Access Programme and it is now the largest and most successful community programme of its kind in Ireland. The overall aims of the Access Programme are: to develop positive attitudes to education and help young people to remain at school, to encourage more students to consider third level education as a viable option for them and to support those students who do make it to third level to complete their course of study.
In December 2007, McGarrell Reilly Group committed to supporting and funding four students participating in the DCU Access Scholarship Programme with the McGarrell Reilly Access Scholarships for the duration of their study at DCU. The Community Foundation was set up by company senior management. We are delighted to be contributing to an important charity programme which enables talented young people to obtain a third level education and reach their true potential.
